Hubby planned of having one of his molars pulled come September when he will have another week off but it happened sooner than that. He was at work today when he called that it started hurting so bad he decided he couldn’t take it anymore so he asked his employer to call around for a dental clinic to accept him right away. There was one so he went there where they pulled the offending tooth. He is home now resting. I hope the wound (the dentist had to cut his gum and pulled the tooth in two batch) will heal soon. He said he is hungry but he can’t eat yet because of a gauze in his gum. He is not supposed to take it off unless the blood that comes from it starts clotting. He may have to start eating chicken noodles again until it heals back up. At least now that it is pulled it won’t cause him to hurt.

body board

I don’t know what hubby was thinking but when I made him stop on a surf shop earlier to buy a pair of swimsuit, he also got out and bought bubby a shovel and a body board fit for kids. It was so cute but buying it for a twenty month old? Bubby was very happy and played with it in the car. But when we got to the beach he didn’t even glanced at it. He was more concerned with his plastic wagon and of course playing with the waves. Hubby didn’t really force bubby to use the board since it was very windy earlier and it wouldn’t have been safe. Maybe when the weather cooperates he will teach bubby how to get on it. What I am afraid of is if he remembers where I stashed my body board and force me to use it on our stints in the beach. I am not really fond of it due to two facts: one, I don’t know how to swim and two, the waves are crazy here- comes in rapid succession and very strong too. It is like a battle of wills. But anyways, I hope bubby will enjoy his body board. The way it looks he will be a beach bum if we let him. Oh, how he loves the water.

frustrated

I have been searching all my sources but I couldn’t find the last episode of my favorite television series Babangon Ako’t Dudurugin Kita. They aired the finale today. There was one site that has a video but I had to email the uploader to be able to view the video. There was nothing wrong with that except for the fact that I totally completely forgot my log in id and password to the website. Isn’t it just great? I am clueless what it was. May have to open all my email accounts and hope it is there saved somewhere. For now I will go to bed and try to forget about it. Maybe tomorrow I will get lucky enough to watch it.
Update:
Finally watched the ending and quite frankly I am not very happy with it (sigh). But then the story has to end according to the script, not my wish. It is now time to look for other series to watch.
another theme

I decided to change the theme for this blog I guess for the 4th or 5th time. I am constantly looking for a new theme that I like and will leave alone for a long time. This was uploaded by my friend Belle (who happens to be hosting this blog as well) on my Island Girl blog and so I asked her if she can upload this here too and she did. I guess I will leave this alone for a while and hopefully this will work. I made the mistake of using a template last time which didn’t work out and messed up this blog at the same time. Good thing she was able to fix it or else I would have been in trouble. I like the blue in this template. Refreshing and cool to the eyes.

Bubby walked with us for about half a mile while constantly eyeing the water probably wondering when we will let him get in it.
life insurance rates

When my stepdaughter and her husband decided to get life insurances for each of them she told us of the benefits and urged us to get ours too. They already applied and got accepted and we are happy for them. As for us, we don’t know yet if we will but it never hurts to look around for life insurance rates just in case. Who knows we will decide to apply for ours in the near future. I have been reading about it in my spare time and I think it is a good thing to do. Of course everything has to have my husband’s permission. It is an unwritten rule in this house, everything has to be discussed between him and me and then we decide later. We will see.
new laptop

Hubby finally bought his son a new laptop he can use whenever he wants to. He has been using our computers alternately since his laptop quit working and hubby figured it will be a nice graduation gift for the boy to give him a laptop instead of something else. He has it working now and he claims he likes it. It has got windows xp because that is what he wants rather than the vista. I must admit I like xp better myself unfortunately mine has vista. But then I am getting familiar with vista (hopefully) and I am fine with it. I am glad that he finally has his own computer again so we won’t have to worry about him crashing either one of ours
