Last night when I opened this blog I thought it needs a new theme. I have used this theme for a while now and I think it is time for a change. So I looked at the free themes in wordpress and installed a few I liked. I then previewed each one of the themes I liked to see if it will suit me. I had problems with a few because of the font used or the font size. There were some which really looked good but when I used it as my theme it did not click. I had to install and uninstall a lot of themes several times which ended up messing with my side bar. Then the problem started. I have badges in my sidebar that you can see. There are only four of those but they are kinda important. These badges and links have been in the sidebar since the conception of this blog so it really felt odd (to me) not to see those when I scroll down the page. Thankfully my blog is cached and I only have to click view source and looked for the links and I was able to put them back where they belong. Now I am back to my old theme. I have to look at more themes to satisfy me but I have to make sure to be careful so this incident will not happen again.
